Shot on location in the Parkdale neighborhood of Toronto, James O’Reilly in Parkdale is a lively account by playwright and actor James O’Reilly of his uncle’s real-life descent into unemployment, draft beer, and murder.

The ten minute short was nominated for Best Experimental Documentary at Hot Docs! and screened at festivals around the country before being broadcast on CBC-TV. Shot by Ted Overton, it was written and performed by James O'Reilly and directed and produced by Alex Pugsley.
